SOMERVILLE, NJ-The SHI International Building world headquarters in Franklin Township garnered one of two major awards to be handed out next week by the Somerville Planning Board.
On Tuesday, the Somerville Planning Board will hold its 30th Annual Land Development and Planning Awards. The board will bestow the SHI International project its green building design award for the upgrade of the previously decade long abandoned building. The award for the building in the Somerset section of Franklin Township will go to Becht Engineering BT and Cornerstone Architectural Group of South Plainfield.
The planning board will also hand out its institutional development award to the borough of Somerville for its Division Street pedestrian walk reconstruction designed by Cole & Associates of Lawrenceville. See story at nj.com.
