29 Acres Sell for $7M

PHOENIX-Buyer McClain Foods acquired the land, with plans to build a 200,000-SF freezer-cooler building that will serve restaurant clients in the southwest.

PHOENIX-McClain Foods Services has acquired 29 acres along the Interstate 10 corridor, with plans to build a 200,000-square-foot freezer-cooler building on the site. The buyer paid $7 million to EJM Development Co. of Los Angeles for the property.

The acreage is at the southwest corner of 75th Ave. and Interstate 10. According to a press release issued by Lee & Associates, which helped broker the transaction, McClain will launch construction on its facility this year.
