ST. PAUL, MN-Infor, a New York-based software company, has initiated a site search for its 650 employees now housed in major office building in downtown St. Paul.
The firm, which acquired locally-based Lawson Software last year, is considering leaving the Lawson Commons building at 380 Peter St. here. Infor is looking at the Twin Cities area for approximately 130,000 sf of space, half of what it currently leases at the Lawson Commons. The company’s lease at the property expires in 2015, according to the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.
“The company stands firmly committed to our presence in the area,” Infor spokesman Dan Barnhardt said. “However, increased productivity of a mobile workforce and our new customer visit and training center in Infor’s New York headquarters has reduced our need for physical space in St. Paul.” See story in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.
