CHICAGO – The Opus Group has completed and sold a new 223,488 square foot industrial warehouse building for Maxzone Vehicle Lighting Corp. in the Oakview Corporate Park. Details of the transaction were not released.

   Construction of the industrial facility began in August 2012 and took less than four months to complete. The sale closed in late December 2012.      Noel Liston of Darwin Realty and Development Corp. represented Opus and Eric Chang of US Asia Group represented Maxzone in the transaction.    The building is located in West Dundee on 11.3 acres and includes 3,000 square feet of office space, 20 truck docks, two drive-in doors and parking for employees and customers.      “Maxzone required a very tight delivery timeframe, and our design-build team was able to complete construction just 100 days from breaking ground,” Mike Yungerman, vice president of real estate development with Opus Development Co. LLC, says in a press release.    Maxzone is scheduled to take occupancy of the building in April 2013.    “Maxzone is thrilled to join the Oakview Corporate Park,” Chang says. “The location will serve Maxzone well as it continues its growth in the Chicago market and throughout the Midwest.”    The Opus Group is a family of national commercial real estate companies headquartered in Minneapolis, with expertise in development, project management and construction, architecture and engineering, finance, sales and leasing.
