SAN JOSE, CA-Cresa expanded its San Jose commercial real estate office with the addition of two advisors: Ryan Brandenburg and Christopher Errecart. Brandenburg and Errecart will provide tenant representation services, including transaction management, market analyses, and lease negotiations to clients throughout the Silicon Valley and Bay Area.
Prior to joining Cresa, Brandenburg served as an associate for five years at Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank in Santa Clara, where he focused on representing technology tenants throughout the Bay Area.
Brandenburg, a resident of San Jose, is a member of the association of Silicon Valley brokers.
A resident of Los Gatos, CA, Errecart received a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from the University of California, Berkley.
Cresa’s California offices include: San Jose, Palo Alto, San Francisco, Emeryville, Los Angeles, Woodland Hills, Orange County, Ontario, San Diego, and Sacramento.
According to a recent report for the San Jose area from Cresa, activity in Q4 and for all of 2012 was quite strong. The technology sector of the economy continues to gather strength, and Silicon Valley companies are expanding, says the report.
“The highly skilled labor force remains the region’s greatest asset,” says the report. For example, FICO has relocated its HQ from Minneapolis to take advantage of the available engineering talent, the report notes. Unemployment fell from 9.1% to 7.8% in 2012.
