Plan is Unveiled for Navy Yard Building

PHILADELPHIA- Architect Robert A.M. Stern has reworked the city's 2004 master plan for 1,200 acres at the southern end of Broad Street that would allow multi-tenant commercial and industrial development at the Navy Yard.

PHILADELPHIA- Architect Robert A.M. Stern has reworked the city’s 2004 master plan for 1,200 acres at the southern end of Broad Street that would allow multi-tenant commercial and industrial development at the Navy Yard.

Stern, dean of Yale University’s architecture school, presented his design plan on Friday at an event that marked the Navy Yard reaching the 10,000-employee milestone. The City of Philadelphia and Navy Yard developers, the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corp. (PIDC), and partners Liberty Property Trust and Synterra Partners hosted the event, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
