IRVING, TX-Nationstar Mortgage LLC has expanded its space by some 105,559 square feet to occupy an entire office building at 4000 Horizon Way. With the lease, the mortgage company now has space in the entire 292,988-square-foot building.
“Nationstar has doubled in size in the past year, and we expect continued growth for the foreseeable future,” explains Doug Gordon, corporate vice president, Real Estate and Facilities for Nationstar in a press release. “We need more operational capacity to serve our markets and sustain our growth. We are very pleased to significantly increase our presence at this exceptional Horizon Way location.”
Terry Quinn with Cresa Dallas represented Nationstar Mortgage, which is headquartered in Lewisville, TX. The landlord, First Tennessee Bank National Association from Memphis, was represented by Ann Huntington and Dennis Barnes with CBRE in Dallas. “We were pleased to facilitate both the original lease and the expansion lease within eight months on behalf of First Tennessee Bank National Association,” says Huntington, a senior vice president with CBRE, in a press release.
Nationstar Mortgage chose the property because the building offers the parking space, amenities and flexibility. “Nationstar Mortgage is a solid corporate partner, and we appreciate the fact they are growing by 30% in Irving,” says Irving city manager Tommy Gonzalez in a prepared statement. “Due to the city’s convenient location, numerous amenities, and service-oriented approach to economic development, the majority of businesses located here chose to stay in Irving as they expand.”
