Ground Broken for 60,000 SF Veterans Clinic

GILBERT, AZ—Stephen Doyle, Vice President of McShane Development Company’s Healthcare Division, says that the firm has broken ground for the new U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Southeast Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Gilbert, Arizona.  The 60,000 useable square foot healthcare facility is situated on a well-positioned nine-acre parcel at 3285 South Val Vista Drive near South Market Street within the Val Vista Square business park.  Completion of the development is slated for Spring 2014. 

            The formal groundbreaking ceremony took place on Friday, February 1, 2013 and included dignitaries such as Ms. Sharon Helman, Director of the Phoenix V.A. Healthcare System, Ms. Susan Bowers, Director of the Veterans Integrated Service Network 18 (VISN 18), The Honorable John Lewis, Mayor, and Ben Cooper, Vice Mayor of the Town of Gilbert.  Paul Coupaud, M.Ed., USAF Ret. and Acting Public Affairs Officer for the Phoenix VA Health Care System served as Master of Ceremonies.
