NAI Martens Sells Union Station In Downtown Wichita

   WICHITA, KS – NAI Martens represented Cox Communications in the sale of the historic Union Station campus to Occidental Management.

   The 9.5 acre site includes four buildings totaling more than 111,000 square feet. While details of the Feb. 1 sale were not disclosed, the list price was $6.5 million.    Occidental Management, a Wichita-based development company, plans to convert the property to mixed-use, including restaurant, retail and office, while keeping its historical integrity.    Two of the buildings, which are almost 100 years old, are listed on the national historic registry    Union Station is in the heart of downtown, between the Old Town Entertainment District and the  INTRUST Bank Arena. It was completed in 1914 and at the time was a leader in elevated rail technology, passenger convenience and travel luxury.     NAI Martens is a full-service commercial real estate firm, founded in 1948 and headquartered in Wichita.
