DALLAS-Colliers International says that Weeks Robinson Properties has signed a 321,135-square-foot industrial lease to Conn Appliances, Inc. The Class A building is located at 4800 Langdon Rd. and is one of two adjacent buildings (with a total of 827,890 square feet) in South Dallas that is a Gold LEED certified property. Colliers initially sold the two Langdon Road buildings to Weeks Robinson in 2011 and also manages both properties.
“We’ve been selective when choosing tenants but Conn’s immediately caught our attention due to their high-caliber name. We recognized they would be a great complement to the property,” says Bob Rice, senior vice president with Weeks Robinson in a press release. “This new project increases the property’s occupancy to nearly 85%.”
Weeks Robinson was represented by Chris Teesdale and Tom Pearson of Colliers International’s Supply Chain Real Estate Advisors in Dallas, Texas. The tenant, Conn Appliances Inc., was represented by Dave Anderson with CBRE.
“Conn Appliances’ decision to locate to South Dallas further demonstrates the strength and viability of the business environment in the area,” says Teesdale in a release. “Given the property’s close proximity to three major Interstates – 20, 45 and 35 – it is well suited for ease of transportation to any surrounding area.”
“Conn Appliances needed a space to accommodate their growing business needs,” adds Pearson in the same release. “This new lease provides a single facility that offers efficiency for growth.”
