   CHICAGO – Kiser Group has been retained to market two listings in the city’s south-suburban neighborhood of Calumet City.

   The listing includes 12 units at 371-375 Yates Ave. and 17 units in two buildings at 634 Sibley and 1633 Harbor.
    “We are seeing increased activity in the suburban Chicago market so far, and these listings reflect the value-added opportunities there are for investors looking for rental properties on the south side and Northwest Indiana region,” says John Meyer, managing director of Kiser Group.
    The property at 371-375 Yates Ave. is a 12-unit apartment building with nine two-bedroom and three three-bedroom units. Two apartments are vacant, but leases are expected to be signed for both units in the coming weeks, said Meyer, who is marketing the listings. The property has 13 exterior parking spaces. It is listed for $400,000.
    “This is a stable investment opportunity, as the property is in good condition and the apartments are sizeable,”  Meyer says.
   The 634 Sibley and 1633 Harbor listing consists of two apartment buildings. The building at 634 Sibley has 11 units (five one-bedroom and six two-bedroom) while 1633 Harbor has six units (three one-bedrooms and three two-bedrooms). The listing price is $250,000.
   “This listing is a rehab play,“ said Meyer, who is marketing the listing. “Both buildings are vacant and need renovating. However, each building has sizeable units and ample parking.”
