American Dream Meadowlands

Save the date: RealShare Philadelphia comes to the Crystal Tearoom in Philadelphia on March 7.

LITTLE FERRY, NJ-Gov. Chris Christie is convinced the stalled American Dream project in the Meadowlands will be restarted by no later than March 31.

The governor at a press conference here on Wednesday said the project will be restarted “this quarter—the first quarter of 2013,” according to The Record. He later added, “I’m convinced that will happen.”

In December 2012, after receiving the endorsement of the statewide laborers union for his re-election bid, Gov. Christie said work would resume on the American Dream project sometime in January (2013). However, up until now no work has begun on the venture that has seen little or no activity since 2009.
