Winoker may soon be an even greater force in the NYC market.

NEW YORK CITY–Winoker Realty Company has been acquired by a partnership of four New York real estate principals: Ira Fishman and Dana Moskowitz, president and executive vice president, respectively, of ID Real Estate Partners, and Nathan Halegua and Josh Halegua, principals of Jonis Realty and Citi-Urban Management. The group have been business partners and friends for many years.

Fishman worked at Winoker Realty from 1998 to 2008, and was David Winoker’s partner from 2001 on. “Dave was a wonderful man, good friend, and a consummate real estate professional,” Fishman says. “In buying Winoker Realty, my partners and I were well aware that Dave and his father, Sidney (who founded the company), created a solid platform, and we want to preserve and continue that platform.”

Fishman elaborates on his plans for Winoker. “We have begun the process of rebranding the company, and we intend to invest in it, with expectations to enhance, grow and diversify it,” he says. “This is a strong firm with a wonderful history and extraordinary potential.”

Under the new ownership at Winoker, Fishman will focus on client relations and developing new business; Nathan Halegua will concentrate on acquisitions; Josh Halegua will devote his attention to management and Moskowitz will focus on direction and oversight of the leasing division.
