WAYNE, NJ-Vision Equities LLC of Mountain Lakes, which is building Bayer Healthcare‘s new $250-million headquarters in Whippany, is looking to acquire the facilities the drug maker will be vacating later this year in Wayne and Montville.

“They (Bayer) have a couple of legacy assets, one of which is in Wayne and the other one is in Montville, and as part of the overall global transaction we have interest in acquiring those legacy assets,” Samuel Morreale, managing partner of Vision Equities tells the Record. “We have the ability to acquire them directly.”

As part of a deal it hammered out with Bayer, Vision Equities can purchase 6 West Belt Parkway in Wayne and 340 Changebridge Road in Montville. Vision and Bayer are co-marketing the properties to prospective tenants. The broker for Bayer’s Wayne site is Cushman & Wakefield Inc. and Jones Lang LaSalle is handling marketing for its Montville site. See story in The Record.
