MIAMI—Amid strong demand for industrial assets in the Airport West submarket, Beacon Centre once again has reached 100% occupancy. The Doral industrial facility first reached full occupancy in Nov. 2011 and has stayed at or near 100% occupied ever since.
Marine Harvest leased about 40,000 square feet at the class A business park located at NW 25th Street and NW 84th Avenue in Doral, FL. Transwestern senior vice president Thomas Kresse, along with managing directors Ben Eisenberg and Walter Byrd and associate Carlos Gaviria, brokered the transaction on behalf of the landlord, RREEF Real Estate.
“We’ve upheld a long-standing and successful leasing track record in Airport West, particularly with Beacon Centre which we’ve maintained as a fully leased RREEF asset for over two years,” says Kresse. RREEF acquires and manages investments in commercial and residential property and real estate securities on behalf of its institutional and private clients worldwide.
Beacon Centre is located in the heart of Doral with quick access to major thoroughfares. It’s also close to the Miami International Airport. These geographical factors and the industrial property’s class A warehouse and distribution spaces continue to attract and maintain gold-standard tenants.
Transwestern recently inked the largest transaction of 2013 when it signed a new 148,750-square-foot long-term lease in Doral. SeaFreight from IndCor Properties at its International Corporate Park.
CBRE’s senior vice president Dave Albert, vice president Devin White, and associate Andrew Lehrer, Associate, represented the tenant.
