Hodgdon Group Completes Ashley Furniture HomeStore Conversion

SACRAMENTO, CA-The Hodgdon Group, a full-service brokerage, development and construction company, has completed the conversion of the former Sam’s Club building for the opening of an Ashley Furniture HomeStore.

Hodgdon Group’s HMC Construction, Inc. handled all entitlements and served as the design-build contractor for the major renovation of the former 134,000-square-foot Sam’s Club building, which includes the new 74,000-square-foot Ashley Furniture HomeStore and a 60,000-square-foot Burlington Coat Factory, which opened on October 11. HMC Construction also handled TIs for both Ashley Furniture and Burlington. Ashley Furniture is located in North Natomas at 3671 N. Freeway Boulevard in the City of Sacramento. The furniture store opened Dec. 13.
