CHICAGO—DTZ, a Chicago-based property services firm, has just appointed Paul Bedborough as its new president of facilities management, Americas, effective immediately. Bedborough will lead the nearly $1 billion business and base himself in both Boston and Chicago. He takes over from George Keches, who had stayed on at DTZ for several months to ensure a smooth transition.
Bedborough has 14 years of experience in facilities management. Prior to joining DTZ, he was the vice president of global operations Americas at Global WorkPlace Solutions, where he was responsible for operations across 12 countries and 7,000 locations.
“We are very pleased to welcome Paul, a thought leader and respected executive in our industry, to DTZ’s Americas team,” says Tod Lickerman, DTZ Global CEO. “DTZ’s vertically aligned FM and corporate services are a powerhouse that enables us to deliver the best long term outcomes for our clients as we continue to expand our business.”
Steve Quick, chief executive of Global Corporate Services adds, “Paul’s proven leadership will help us deliver the expert management solutions and coordinated local execution that our clients rely on to meet their increasing business requirements.”
Bedborough’s experience includes developing and implementing global FM programs in the areas of safety, critical environments, continuous improvement and workflow. Earlier in his career, he served as vice president and general manager of Global WorkPlace Solutions USA’s facility management business. Based in the US since 2003, Bedborough also served as director of operations for the company in the UK.
