Now the city's tallest

CINCINNATI—Locally-based Eagle Realty Group has just selected Cassidy Turley to provide project leasing services for Queen City Square, a 1-million-square-foot class A office development in Cincinnati’s CBD.

Queen City Square consists of the 41-story Great American Tower, the tallest in the city, and the 17-story 303 Broadway. Completed in 2011 by Eagle Realty and perhaps the region’s most notable office building, Great American Tower serves as Great American Insurance’s headquarters.

The city and its office market have begun to show signs of strength. During the second half of 2013, for example, investors bought a total of 2.19-million-square-feet of office space for $184 million, according to researchers from Cassidy Turley. Total sales volume for the year topped $221 million, the second straight year the Cincinnati region has seen over $200 million in office transactions.

Cassidy Turley senior vice president Scott Abernethy and vice president Digger Daley will take over from Colliers and lead leasing efforts for the Queen City development, which has about 80,000-square-feet of available office space.

“We are extremely excited to be listing this signature asset,” says Abernethy. “Queen City Square is unmatched in the region. The architecture, location and amenities immediately make a positive statement for any tenant in this facility.”

The GAT was certified as LEED Gold, making it the first “green” office building located downtown. It sits near city landmarks such as Great American Ballpark and the Queen City Club, as well as many of downtown’s restaurants, retail, hotels and parks.
