SAN FRANCISCO—Real estate website Curbed says there has been some clogging of the development arteries when it comes to hotel development in San Francisco, but that relief is on the way.
The site points to a dozen notable ground-up or major renovation projects that are currently under way, or will begin shortly.
“2014 is lining up developments that could be the turning point,” Curbed says.
The twelve projects include a 15-story luxury Mission Bay hotel from SOMA Hotel development group, 942 Mission, and 250 Fourth, and a redevelopment of the former Kaplan’s Surplus & Sport Goods at 1055 Market St.
