WHITE PLAINS, NY—Robert Barone, a 30-year veteran of IVI International, has been promoted to president of the construction risk management firm. He’ll be focused on growing the firm and expanding its consulting services.
Barone has served as SVP of IVI’s CRM division since 1999, overseeing a team of more than 50 architects, engineers and project managers. At present it’s servicing more than 320 projects with an aggregate direct cost of more than $13 billion.
“Robert Barone is widely respected by our clients, our team, and our industry for his high standards and leadership,” says Carl de Stefanis, IVI’s CEO. “We are delighted that he will serve as president as we begin our fifth decade of service to real estate owners, investors and lending institutions around the world.”
Headquartered in White Plains with regional offices across the US along with international affiliates in London and Paris, IVI was established in 1973. Its projects have included the $8.5-billion City Center Resort and Casino in Las Vegas and the Time Warner Center in New York City. At present, IVI is providing project management oversight to two luxury residential towers in Manhattan: Extell Development’s One57 in Midtown and the Alexico Group’s 56 Leonard St. in Tribeca.
