WASHINGTON, DC—Homebuilder Toll Bros. is looking to ramp up the second phase of its Union Place mixed-use project here, adding to the number of residential units and retail space it plans to develop.
The Horsham, PA-based firm wants to add 25 residential units or 35,000 square feet of space, as well as 3,000 square feet of retail space to the project at 200 K St. NE in the NoMa district.
The plan also calls for the reduction of parking spaces at the C-shaped project from 296 spaces to 229, while bicycle spaces will be increased from 55 to 175.
Toll Brothers acquired the 1.25-acre site from the Cohen Cos. in May of last year for $30.1 million. See story in the Washington Business Journal.
