Mack-Cali Office Bldg. Is Declared LEED Gold

PARSIPPANY, NJ-A Mack-Cali office building here has become the 13th in the state to get LEED Gold certification for measures taken to increase sustainability an existing property.

PARSIPPANY, NJ—Mack-Cali Realty Corp.’s 5 Wood Hollow Road office building here has just received LEED Gold certification from the US Green Building Council – becoming the 13th commercial property in the state to get the award for operations and maintenance of an existing building.

The LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance rating system recognizes “maximized operational efficiency with minimized environmental impact,” according to the USGBC. It addresses cleaning and maintenance issues, including chemical use, recycling programs, exterior maintenance programs and system upgrades.
