Karen Nelson

ATLANTA—Multifamily management company Pinnacle reports it has added two key executives to its growing Southeastern US operations.

Dallas-based Pinnacle has named Karen Nelson vice president/relationship manager, and Joseph Renaud, regional property manager. Both will be based at Pinnacle’s recently opened Atlanta office.

Nelson is charged with cultivating new and existing client relationships in Pinnacle’s Southeastern market and brings more than 17 years of real estate experience to the firm. Prior to Pinnacle, she procured new business for Bell Partners in the firm’s mid-Atlantic region and significantly expanded the company’s management portfolio. She also held an operational and leadership role with Stellar Advisors, a regional manager position with Equity Residential and a regional leasing and marketing director role with RREEF.

“Karen comes to the firm at a time when Pinnacle is experiencing sustained growth in the Southeast,” says Jeremy Edmiston, vice president client services for Pinnacle nationally. “Her existing and future relationships in these markets will help to expose our multi-faceted service platform to prospective clients and continue our upward progression.”

Renaud will serve as a regional manager in GA, MD, and PA to enhance efficiency and profitability for Pinnacle’s multifamily communities. He has more than 14 years of industry experience in multifamily and commercial operations, asset management, underwriting, employee coaching and development, institutional reporting and value-add renovation rehab across all asset classes. Previously, he oversaw regional multifamily portfolios for CompassRock Real Estate, TriBridge Residential and McKinley.

“Pinnacle has recently been awarded many new opportunities because of our proven abilities and steadfast reputation for exceeding client and resident expectations across the region,” says Pinnacle President and CEO Rick Graf. “As we convert more prospects to clients and expand our existing client relationships we are excited about having Joe on board to help us deliver exceptional results.”

Greg Mark, Pinnacle’s regional vice president of Southeast and Mid-Atlantic communities, explains that the company is set to expand regional operations by 25% over the next 12 months. “The addition of Karen and Joe in these key positions will enable us to extend our reach and support our strategic efforts.”

The company reports it has enjoyed 30% annual revenue growth in its portfolio throughout Georgia, Alabama and the Carolinas.
