AGOURA HILLS, CA—TouchCommerce, an online customer engagement firm, has signed a five-year, 26,472-square-foot office lease for its corporate headquarters. The tech company signed the lease due to its rapid growth and expansion over the past five years.
Due to the company’s ongoing expansion, brokers negotiated a plug-and-play lease that will accommodate the firm’s future growth as well. The firm currently has a staff of 172 employees, and expects to increase its staff by 20% over the next year. Newmark Grubb Knight Frank executive managing directors David Kluth and Josef Farrar represented the tenant in the transaction, and have managed the firm’s growth and expansion for the past seven years. This lease is part of a 12-year strategy developed by the firm.
Located at 29903 Agoura Road in Agoura Hills, the property has 90,000 square feet of office space. TouchCommerce has been located in the Agoura Hills market for the past 15 years. Although TouchCommerce looked at several other locations for its headquarters, it ultimately chose to stay in the submarket. This office has a modern façade as well as advanced communications and infrastructure capabilities.
Agoura Hills additionally has developers fighting over available land. Recently, a one-acre plot of entitled land received eight offers before Raven Ridge Development won. The development company plans to build 18 townhomes on the site.
