IRVINE, CA—The Villages of Irvine here has sold the most homes of any master-planned community in the Western US for the third consecutive year. The community, built by the Irvine Co.’s Community Development company, was named Top-Selling Master-Planned Community in the Western US by the Robert Charles Lesser Co. in its 2014 mid-year update for selling 664 homes in the first six months of the year.
As GlobeSt.com reported earlier this week, the New Home Co. has sold 23 luxury homes in its new neighborhoods Trevi and Amelia in the Orchard Hills master-planned community in the Villages of Irvine since the neighborhoods opened less than two months ago. The sales represent more than $50 million.
According to Tom Veal, VP of residential sales and marketing for Irvine Co. Community Development, “New homebuyers consistently tell us that Villages of Irvine homes are attractive because they are great homes built by renowned builders, with nearby access to acres of open space. Schools are planned within our neighborhoods, and our homes are close to employment and world-class shopping, dining and entertainment. Clearly, the lifestyle experience across the Villages of Irvine continues to resonate with new homebuyers.”
Strong demand for new homes in Irvine is depleting available inventory across the Villages of Irvine. Villages and neighborhoods continue to sell out, such as the Village of Laguna Altura and Village of Woodbury, as well as Casera in the Village of Portola Springs; Cambria, San Mateo and Santa Maria in the Village of Stonegate; and La Cresta in the Village of Woodbury have sold out in the last year. Opportunities still remain for new homebuyers across the Villages of Irvine in Cypress Village, Village of Orchard Hills, Village of Portola Springs and Village of Stonegate.
