WASHINGTON, DC—The National Association of Home Builders has just completed the 2014 Pillars of the Industry Awards Ceremony, a unique online event, complete with virtual applause, music and laughter. But the purpose of the awards was all in earnest, since the Pillars Awards seeks to recognize creative design and development concepts, innovative financing strategies and superior management and marketing in the apartment and condo marketplace. The event was hosted by Jamie Goldman, marketing director of the Denver-based architecture firm Kephart.

Some 25 awards were distributed at the event in categories ranging from Best Student Housing Community to Best Property Manager.
