EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ—Cushman & Wakefield has named Andrew Juddits New Jersey market leader and promoted him to senior managing director. Based in Cushman & Wakefield‘s East Rutherford office, Judd had been serving as interim market leader for the past year, including during the company’s successful merger with DTZ last fall.

In his new position, which is the highest management role within the commercial real estate service firm’s three-office Garden State region, Judd will spearhead Cushman & Wakefield’s continued regional growth.

The Scotch Plains, NJ, resident joined the team as a director in the firm’s Marketing & Communications Group in 2004 and in 2014 was promoted to senior operations manager for New Jersey. Over a period of nearly 12 years, he has been instrumental in helping secure more than 80 million square feet of assignments from some of the firm’s largest clients.

Andrew has been a key part of the New Jersey management structure for many years; he consistently has shown strong leadership and a deep commitment to this organization,” says Ron Lo Russo, president, New York Tri-State Region. “He is the right fit for this role, having proven to be a valuable asset in exercising Cushman & Wakefield’s regional business growth objectives and supporting our talented brokers.”

In his new role, Judd holds direct P&L responsibility; manages brokerage and business line staff; oversees administrative functions; and leads broker recruiting, mentoring, training and development programs. He also is involved with strategic planning – including new business-development initiatives, targeted client strategies and cross-selling opportunities.

For Judd, this is a natural career progression. “I have been fortunate in my prior roles at Cushman & Wakefield to touch every aspect of the business,” he says. “And while I am now the new official ‘face’ of the firm in New Jersey, our staff and clients already know me – and vice versa.”

Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, Judd served as managing director of marketing services for CBRE’s New York office. He holds an MBA degree in executive management and a bachelor’s degree in communications from Fordham University. A licensed salesperson in New Jersey, he has also completed real estate coursework at NYU’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies.

“Our professionals have always been, pound for pound, the best in the industry,” he says. “And now with the merger we have a truly seamless platform to collaborate, cross-sell and deliver our best-in-class services. I look forward to being on the front line in continuing what Cushman & Wakefield has done right for nearly a century and enhancing what we can do moving forward. That is what our clients need, demand and deserve.”
