Gregg A. McCort

Gregg A. McCort was appointed Executive Director-President of REAP on August 14, 2009. Under his leadership, REAP has expanded its reach where it now conducts its unique networking platform in Atlanta, Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York and Washington, DC. REAP is the commercial real estate industry’s pre-eminent program linking talented professionals of color to companies looking for talent. Before taking over the reins of REAP, Mr. McCort was Director of Education for ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers) from 2003 - 2009. He served as Director of Marketing for two major shopping center developers as well as Regional Director of Marketing for another concern. A graduate of Kent State University, he received a degree in communications and worked in the advertising field before transitioning to commercial real estate. During his shopping center career, Mr. McCort was responsible for over 70 regional shopping malls and supervised the opening of eight centers across the USA. REAP’s reach has touched over 800 professionals of color, many of whom have obtained positions with companies such as Wal-Mart Realty, McDonald’s, Simon Property Group, General Growth Properties, Cushman & Wakefield, Jones Lang LaSalle and CBRE. Its 10 week, market specific model links student to company through education, networking and career development.
