Hyatt LAX The Hyatt Regency Los Angeles International Airport will open later this year.

LOS ANGELES—Dallas-based Prism Hotels & Resorts has been chosen as the property manager for the Hyatt Regency Los Angeles International Airport. Formerly the Concourse Hotel at Los Angeles International Airport, the 581-room is currently undergoing a renovation. When complete, it will be the largest Hyatt Regency franchise in North America.

It’s a dream real estate story of wonderful market opportunity meets wonderful product,” Steve Van, president and CEO of Prism Hotels and Resorts, tells GlobeSt.com. “Timing is everything in the real estate business and now is the time for the LAX hotel market. While lagging behind for years in rate, the market has been increasing by double digits in recent years and is set for more growth. The new international terminal and the new football stadium are just part of the growth story locally. And just at the right time the Hyatt Regency LAX will be opening soon. The upper upscale hotel checks all the superlative boxes in terms of what the intelligent world travelers want at LAX: closest to the terminal, brand new beautiful rooms, a best in LA event lawn, impressive ballroom and best of all the Hyatt Regency brand and its best of class service.”
