Wilshire Curson The 250,000-square-foot property will sit behind the SAG-SFTRA building.

LOS ANGELES—Downtown Los Angeles, Long Beach, Hollywood, Koreatown—it seems like every Los Angeles market is evolving and resurging. Now, Miracle Mile is joining with a office renaissance. J.H. Snyder Co. has announced plans to build a $170 million class-A office tower in Museum Square, adjacent to the SAG-SFTRA building. Wilshire Curson, as it will be called, will contribute to the ongoing renaissance in the market, which includes an expansion of the museums and offices in the area.

“This building is part of the original property, which is called the SAG-AFTRA headquarters,” Jerry Snyder, founder and senior partner of J.H. Snyder Co., tells GlobeSt.com. “We have a building at 540,000 square feet and we are going to build the new building at 250,000 square feet, which we have entitled and designed. It is a 12-story building and it will overlook the L.A. County Museum and Tar Pits and it is right across from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts new museum and spherical theater.”
