The Hampton Inn & Suites The Hampton Inn & Suites has 94 rooms.

LOS ANGELES—R.D. Olson Construction has completed the Hampton Inn & Suites in Glendale. This is the hotel builder’s second recent project in the Tri-Cities market, illustrating demand for hotels in markets that are both urban and suburban proximate. It previously built a Marriott Residence Inn in Old Town Pasadena, the first new hotel in the market for decades. This second hotel shoes a real demand for hotels in these markets, which are both proximate to urban cores as well as suburban amenities.

“This is our second hotel in the Tri-cities market over the past couple of years, and our third in the past decade,” Bill Wilhelm, president of R.D. Olson Construction, tells GlobeSt.com. “Throughout the Tri-cities there has been a push toward revitalization and growth, which has raised the bar for the region. These areas are bringing in new experiences and offerings that create a sense of place and excitement for visitors and residents. As a result, demand for hospitality properties, especially select-service properties that can accommodate both business and leisure travelers, in the region has risen exponentially.”
