LOS ANGELES—The first mixed-use project in the South Park neighborhood of Downtown Los Angeles has finally arrived. Contractor Bernards has completed construction of the Wolff Co.’s OLiVE DTLA project, a 384,488-square-foot project with 293 apartment units and 15,000 square feet of retail space. The $62 million project is the first to open in the neighborhood, which has become a major development hub in the market.

“OLiVE DTLA is the first to come to market in this construction cycle in the South Park area and was a key catalyst to the robust redevelopment of this area,” Jocelyn Topolski, executive director of project development at Bernards, tells GlobeSt.com. “Bernards has had the unique experience of working on a number of projects that have been catalysts, including One Santa Fe in the Arts District and Lincoln Place in Venice / Silicon Beach area, to name a few.”
