Developer Builds Varying Sizes to Meet Needs Range

Creme says transportation accounts for over half of the total logistics costs for distribution users today.

FORT WORTH—Part of a strategy to facilitate growth by building inventory in a variety of sizes to meet a wide range of customer needs, by Hillwood Properties is constructing more than 1.75 million square feet of speculative industrial space at AllianceTexas. The space is comprised of two industrial buildings in Alliance Westport and a third facility located in Alliance Center North. Alliance Texas is an 18,000-acre master-planned, mixed-use development.

Tony Creme, vice president of Hillwood Properties, tells GlobeSt.com, “Located at the front door of the BNSF Alliance Intermodal Facility and on Interstate 35W, the location of these class-A facilities will provide significant transportation cost savings. Customers will also benefit from the workforce recruitment and training services offered by the Alliance Opportunity Center.”
