SAN ANTONIO, TX—The Stonehue Shopping Center located at 20323 Huebner Rd. benefits from its prime location in the heart of the Stone Oak trade area, with nearly 75,000 people and average household incomes of more than $125,000 in a three-mile radius. As leasing agents for Stonehue Shopping Center, the Weitzman Group team of Daniel Mitchell and Marcus Shaffer took the 21,004-square-foot neighborhood center from approximately 22% vacant to fully occupied. The tenant mix now includes Jersey Mike’s, India Tai Palace, Guero’s Taco Diner, Austin Driving School, Pizza Hut and several others.

Due to these leasing efforts, the sale listing received strong interest from numerous investor parties, both within the state in addition to the East and West Coasts. The Weitzman Group, representing a Florida-based investment partnership, recently sold the retail center for an undisclosed price to a local investment group. Weitzman’s Shaffer and Mitchell handled negotiations on behalf of the seller. The Weitzman Group will continue to handle leasing of the center under the new ownership.
