IKEA Evaluates Potential On-Site Power Generation

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX—Contractors have been hired for the second IKEA Dallas-Fort Worth-area store, allowing site work to commence, with groundbreaking next month and a store opening in fall 2017.

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX—Contractors have been hired for the second IKEA Dallas-Fort Worth-area store. Pending remaining permits, this progress allows the project to continue on track for site work to commence, with groundbreaking next month and a store opening in fall 2017.

IKEA has chosen MYCON General Contractors to serve as construction manager for the IKEA Grand Prairie site work and store development project. MYCON is a family-owned commercial contractor based in Dallas specializing in ground-up construction services for the retail, industrial, office and healthcare markets in Texas and surrounding areas.
