GRAND PRAIRIE, TX—A building that has e-commerce users with last-mile delivery in mind has broken ground in the Great Southwest Industrial Park. Construction is underway on this 83,125-square-foot class-A speculative warehouse by Port Logistics Realty, a national industrial real estate development and investment company. Completion is slated for the second quarter of 2017.

With e-commerce at the forefront of the construction effort, the facility will feature the latest technology, an efficient design, ample truck courts and vehicular parking, and a prime location on one of the last remaining infill sites in the park. The warehouse will have cross-deck configuration measuring 264 long by 300 feet deep. The industrial project’s plans call for 28-foot clear height, 130-foot truck courts, 25 dock-high doors, a drive-in ramp, 61 car parking spaces, 54 by 50-foot column spacing, 6-inch thick reinforced concrete and early suppression fast response sprinklers.
