Gallery Opens Second Location at River Oaks District

HOUSTON—Fine art and high fashion share a strong connection, thus the inclusion of Thornwood Gallery adds to the caliber of high-end designers and brands at River Oaks District.

HOUSTON—Managed by OliverMcMillan, River Oaks District is a shopping, dining and entertainment situated inside the Houston Loop. The River Oaks District features more than 60 upscale brands including Akris, Canali, Cartier, COS, Dior, Giuseppe Zanotti, Harry Winston, Hermès, NARS, Stella McCartney and Tom Ford. Restaurants and entertainment venues include Steak 48, Le Colonial, Taverna, Toulouse Café & Bar, Hopdoddy Burger Bar, iPic Theaters and Equinox.

Leading fine art gallery, Thornwood Gallery, will open its second location in Houston at River Oaks District in April. Thornwood’s extensive inventory represents a wide variety of styles from abstract to impressionism and realism, with a diverse selection of paintings, photography, and indoor and outdoor sculptures. The gallery will debut solo and group exhibitions in the main art gallery monthly, offering a unique opportunity for customers to view the newest movements in the national and international art scene.
