DUBLIN, CA—With the rising cost of housing in San Francisco, homeowners are migrating to the East Bay where they can live in transit-oriented developments and commute to the city for work. An influx of these suburban developments is playing into the desire among homebuyers for walkability and proximity to conveniences, while also having access to jobs, schools and entertainment–a scenario once reserved for bustling US metros such as San Francisco and New York.

California homebuilder Trumark Homes is capitalizing on homeowners living further from the typical urban core while also having access to conveniences by building communities close to public transportation. In Dublin, where the city’s downtown core has emerged as a commercial and mixed-use center, Trumark Homes will launch sales this spring on its newest community called Perch.
