Brooklyn Brewery Hops to Navy Yard

NEW YORK CITY—The suds maker has inked a sizeable lease, joining several food and beverage manufacturers who recently signed agreements at the complex.

Brooklyn Brewery rendering Brooklyn Brewery is building a 75,000-square-foot brewery, headquarters, restaurant and beer garden at the Yard.

The city has invested over $100 million to transform Building 77 into a one-million-square-foot manufacturing center. The building is undergoing a $185 million redevelopment that will convert one million square feet of underutilized storage space into an art manufacturing, tech and design hub.

“Today we are proud to announce that Brooklyn Brewery will be making its new home in Building 77 at the Brooklyn Navy Yard—a world-class industrial and innovation hub that continues to attract New Yorkers’ hometown favorites,” says Mayor de Blasio.
