Ronald Lo Russo Lo Russo is staying on at Cushman to lead the agency leasing practice.

NEW YORK CITY—There’s been a leadership shakeup at Cushman & Wakefield.

Ron Lo Russo, president, tri-state region, has been replaced in the role by John Santora, a nearly 40-year veteran of the firm. Lo Russo will stay on at Cushman to lead the agency leasing practice. The measures take effect Dec. 1st. A Cushman spokesman declined further comment and Lo Russo did not respond to a request for comment.

Santora John Santora has held a variety of leadership positions at Cushman during his nearly 40-year tenure there.

Santora brings a deep management background to the role and extensive client relationships, having recently led the global integration between Cushman and DTZ as global COO. He has held a variety of leadership positions at the local, national and global levels throughout his tenure with Cushman & Wakefield, including CEO of the Americas and global head of Cushman’s client services business.

Lo Russo came to Cushman in 2013 after serving as VP of leasing at Vornado Property Trust. In his new role, Lo Russo will be responsible for driving and executing agency business on behalf of clients while working closely with Santora and the firm’s senior brokerage professionals to enhance its agency platform, developing tools, technologies and insights to elevate the client experience

The moves come just days after Cushman & Wakefield revealed it is making Americas chief executive Joe Stettinius chief executive of Americas brokerage and capital markets while tapping Tod Lickerman as Americas CEO.

“We’re building on our strength in New York and the region, and John’s experience as a leader in the industry will position us for continued growth,” says Lickerman, global president, Cushman & Wakefield. “We’re excited to have Ron return to our agency leasing practice, where he’ll have an immediate impact on deepening our relationships in the landlord community.”

Earlier this month, Cushman made another big shift when it nabbed super brokers Douglas Harmon and Adam Spies away from Eastdil Secured.
