1 WTC One World Trade Center is among the nominees for BOMA New York’s annual Pinnacle awards.

NEW YORK CITY—BOMA New York has revealed the nominees for the 2017 Pinnacle Awards. This year, seventeen nominees are competing for 10 awards and the Grand Pinnacle—the “pinnacle of the Pinnacles”—which will be given to the building that achieves the highest score.

Local Pinnacle Award winners qualify to compete at the Regional, Mid-Atlantic TOBY (The Outstanding Building of the Year) awards. Regional winners are then automatically entered in to the BOMA International TOBY competition.

This year’s nominees from the 10 awards categories are, for Outstanding Local Member of the Year: Robert Catalano, Total Fire Protection; Kevin McGrath, Boston Properties and Deborah Tomasi, Cushman & Wakefield.

For Historical Building of the Year, 620 Ave. of the Americas, owner and management firm: RXR Property Management, manager: Robert White. For New Construction: One World Trade Center, owner: The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey; management firm: The Durst Organization, property manager: Tom Butler.

In the Earth category, the nominees are The Starrett-Lehigh Building, owner and management firm: RXR Realty, property manager, Mitchell Grant; and 100 Park Ave., owner and management firm: SL Green Realty Corp., property manager: John Flaherty. For the Henry J. Muller Vision Award, the nominee is The Port Authority of NY & NJ, World Trade Center site.

For Manager of the Year in the three-to-10-building category, the nominees are Brendan Shanley, Paramount Group; Carol Nuzzo, SL Green Realty Corp. and Nicholas Mather, RXR Realty. In Manager of the Year for 10 buildings or more, the nominee is Peter Gorry, SL Green Realty Corp.

The Renovated Building of the Year award nominee is 635-641 Ave. of the Americas, owner & management Firm: SL Green Realty Corp., property manager: Fatmire Perezaj. For Operating Office Building of the Year – Category 3 (500,000-1,000,000 square feet), nominees are 810 Seventh Avenue/SLG 810 Seventh Lessee, owner & management firm: SL Green Realty Corp., property manager: Susana Kalaj; for 222 Broadway, owner: RAR2-222 Broadway Owner SPE, management firm: L&L Holding Company, property manager: David Berk, LEED GA; and 350 Park Ave., owner: 350 Park EAT management firm, Vornado Office Management and Property Manager: Diane B. Fagan.

Lastly, the nominee for Operating Office Building of the Year–Category 4 (over 1,000,000 square feet) is 32 Old Slip, owner: RXR 32 Old Slip Owner, management firm: RXR Property Management, property manager: Beck Papraniku.

Winners will be revealed Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017 during a ceremony from 5:30 PM to 10:00 p.m. at Chelsea Piers.
