Midtown Office Tower Secures Two Leases

NEW YORK CITY—The pair of leases represent more than 75,000 square feet of space, bringing the Sixth Avenue property to 98% occupancy.

NEW YORK CITY—Mitsui Fudosan America—the US operations of Japan’s largest real estate company—has signed two leases at its flagship property at 1251 Ave. of the Americas here. Berenberg Capital Markets and McGuireWoods are the newest tenants at the Midtown tower.

Berenberg Capital Markets, a subsidiary of the second oldest bank in the world, the German bank Berenberg, which was founded in 1590, has signed a 12-year lease for the entire 53rd floor, spanning approximately 31,700 rentable square feet. Mitchell Konsker, Alexander M. Chudnoff, and Benjamin Bass of JLL represented Berenberg.
