JERSEY CITY, NJ—Mack-Cali Realty Corp. has named Rebecca Robertson, president and executive producer of Park Avenue Armory in Manhattan, to its board of directors.

“It is rare to find someone who combines the depth of knowledge that Rebecca possesses across real estate, entertainment, and programming – all vital aspects of the live/work/play communities we are creating,” says Michael J. DeMarco, Mack-Cali president. “We welcome her to our Board and know that the unique experience she brings gives her an unmatched perspective and expertise that will be invaluable to Mack-Cali.”

Robertson previously led the redevelopment of both the Lincoln Center and the urban renewal project of the New 42nd Street. Additionally, Robertson sits on the boards of the New 42nd Street, Park Avenue Armory, and the CalArts Board of Overseers.

“I am excited to join the Mack-Cali board of directors,” says Robertson. “Mack-Cali is a company on the way to becoming a first class organization. I am ready to apply my years of experience as an urban planner and not-for-profit developer as the company commences projects like repositioning its Harborside complex on the Jersey City Waterfront.”

From 2000 through 2006, Robertson served as the executive director of the Lincoln Center Development Project. With her team, she developed a vision for the Lincoln Center campus and the revitalization of 65th Street as a transparent and accessible street for the arts.

Robertson also worked for The Shubert Organization, New York’s largest Broadway theater owner, where she expanded their real estate portfolio and developed their first off-Broadway Theater. She has also served as a studio critic/lecturer at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Robertson holds Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Science in Planning degrees from the University of Toronto.
