ATLANTA-The MBA CREF conference recently took place in Atlanta and Jones Lang LaSalle spent time with Principal Real Estate Investors' Marty Cropp to discuss borrowing and lending in 2012.
Borrowers need more debt in 2012 and investors like Principal are willing to fill the gap as aggressive competitors. Cropp describes Principal’s rising production goals, up 25 percent to $3 billion in 2012, and his ability to solve lender challenges for the entire capital stack in 2012. He also chatted about what he feels are important Client needs and how the industry will respond to these need. In particular, he mentions, how this will be different in the coming year from 2011.
