WEBINAR FAQs

General Questions

Q: How do I participate in the webinar?
A: Go to www.globest.com/webinars to register. You will receive a welcome email with your username, password, and the direct link to the event. Be sure to log in early to test your computer for the minimum system requirements.

Q: Is the webinar interactive?
A: If you attend the live broadcast, you can participate via audience polls and a Q&A console. If you view the webinar on-demand, you cannot participate in these interactive features.

Q: Do I need to hook up a phone line?
A: No, all you need is a computer with an internet connection and speakers.

Q: I want to attend the webinar, but I'm not available for the live broadcast. Can I still participate?
A: Yes. The webinar will be available on-demand, beginning a day after the live broadcast for three months.

Q: Can I recommend panelists for the webinar?
A: By the time we start promoting our webinars, the speaker list has been set. Please fill out our Editorial Advisory form (http://www.remedianetwork.com/mediaguide/editcoverage.asp) to let us know your interest in future projects, and watch our editorial calendars for upcoming events.

Q: How far in advance of the start time should I log in?
A: You will need to test your computer and make sure it has the minimum system requirements, and that popup blockers are disabled. Please leave sufficient time for this test.

Registration and Access

Q: If I register, can other people use the same link?
A: Each registration is unique to your IP address. Only the email address you use during registration will receive all welcome and reminder emails.

Q: I have a large group of people who are interested in the webinar. Do they each have to register separately?
A: Our webinars are priced for a single viewing. Special discount rates are available for groups of 10 or more.

Q: I'm a member of the press. Can I get a free pass to the webinar?
A: We do offer complimentary press passes, with the understanding that you will provide full coverage of the webinar in your publication and that you will credit GlobeSt.com and Real Estate Forum. Contact Jason Young (jyoung@alm.com) for your single-use code, which you will need to enter in the "Coupon Codes" box on the registration form.

Q: I'm a student/coworker of one of the speakers. Can I get a discount?
A: Contact Jason Young (jyoung@alm.com) for your single-use code, which you will need to enter in the "Coupon Codes" box on the registration form.

Q: If I want to see the webinar on-demand more than once, do I have to pay every time?
A: No, as long as you are using the same IP address.

Q: Can I download the webinar?
A: No.

For other registration queries, please contact Jason Young at jyoung@alm.com.

Technical

Q: I can't fill out one of the fields in the registration form, but the form won't let me leave it blank.
A: If you genuinely cannot fill in the field, use dummy text. But please make it obvious that it's fake so we know not to include it in our records (for example, use 999-999-9999 for a dummy phone number or www.fakeurl.com for a dummy website).

Q: I registered but didn't get the welcome email.
A: Did you use your own email address when you registered? If not, the email you entered is the one that gets all messages. You may have also entered the email incorrectly. Contact Chirag Shah (212-457-7743, cshah@alm.com), who will find out what email address is entered in your registration--that email is the one you must use to log in to view the webinar, spelled exactly as it was entered.

Q: I'm trying to log in, but it won't accept my email.
A: See above.

Q: I've logged in to watch the webinar, but I don't have video/don't have sound.
A: Check to make sure the computer you're using has the minimum system requirements, and that popup blockers are disabled. Also check to see if your IT department allows streaming media.
