Key to delivering the deal was the neighboring address to Lakeland Paper's previously leased 89,544 sf, David Teeter of Henry S. Miller Commercial in Dallas tells GlobeSt.com. The extra space at 600 109th St. is being used for overflow inventory.
Teeter represents the building owner, Northwestern Mutual Life. Shane Clark of the Bradford Co. brokered the midterm lease for the tenant, which is headquartered in Sturgis, MI.
In Grand Prairie's section of the Great Southwest, Sizewise Rentals Inc. slid into 5,002 sf in a fast-paced deal that went from closing to immediate move-in for 1205 W. North Carrier Parkway. Sizwise, based in Ellis, KS, also leased in Austin as part of an expansion of its trademark leasing of oversized medical equipment such as beds.
Michael Spain and John Lancaster, both with TIG Real Estate Services in Dallas, negotiated the lease for the building owner, the Chicago-based RREEF. A Swearingen Co. team of Mark Collins and Chris Teesdale packaged the terms for the tenant.
