Mark Cote, managing director at T3 Realty Advisors, represented Diligent in the transaction while Philip DeSimone of Spaulding & Slye represented Divine, Inc., which is subletting the space. The owner of the building is Newton, MA-based National Development. Other tenants in the building include Natural Microsystems and Kana Software.
Diligent intends to use the facility as its base for operations, sales, services, finance and management functions as well as for some of its research and development. The company, which also has an office in Tel Aviv, Israel, says that it chose this site for its new headquarters due to its "prime location in the heart of the Massachusetts and storage technology beltway as well as its capacity to expand along with the continued growth of its business." Diligent was founded in June 2002 and currently employs nearly 100 people.
