Amigos Library Services' chief requirement was a location near the university's library to fulfill a new contract. The firm's services include cataloging, reference, resource sharing, preservation, digital imaging and consulting and training.
Jon Silberman of the Houston office of NAI Partners Commercial and Bob Lutrell of the Houston office of Jackson & Cooksey represented the tenant. Silberman tells GlobeSt.com that the site search produced a limited number of options.
University Business Park contains 14 buildings ranging from 13,000 sf to more than 60,000 sf. The University Business Park building that won the deal is owned Schlumberger Technology Corp. of New York City. Frank Stanley in the Houston office of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc. represented the building owner at the bargaining table.
