Meanwhile, the northwest suburbs has seen smaller retail centers change hands in separate deals. The 6,700-sf Fairway Plaza in Elk Grove Village sold for $1.05 million while a 6,750-sf retail property at 410-16 W. Higgins Rd. in Schaumburg traded for $885,000.

The retail center at 1201 E. Higgins Rd., just west of Illinois 83, is home to a Chinese restaurant and convenience store. Car Quest is among the long-term tenants at the three-unit building in Schaumburg, just east of Golf Road, which was fully leased at closing.

Inland Real Estate Sales Inc. SVP Charles Hold and sales associate Joseph Jankovsky represented Styling Concepts, a seller as well as one of the businesses operating at the Schaumburg asset. Harold Oza of Hallmark Johnson represented the buyer.

Jankovsky and Dan Martin represented a local partnership selling the Elk Grove Village property while Dan Skon of Best Choice Real Estate in Arlington Heights represented investor Tai Lee.
