McCorkle for $1 million or $23,181 per acre (53 cents per sf). The property is on the east side of Rate Road 19, about 500 feet south of US 27. Preston Hage and Patrick Chisholm of Maury L. Carter & Associates represented the buyer.
Adak at Maingate LLC, corporate parent of the Houlihan's Restaurant chain, purchased a 1.5-acre parcel from Jaydeep Properties LLC for $750,000 or $500,000 per acre ($11.48 per sf). The tract is located 2.5 miles east of US 27 on the south side of US 192 in Osceola County. Carter and Hage negotiated for the seller.
In Orange County, Carter, acting as trustee of the Carter-West Orange 48 Acre Land Trust, paid $410,000 or $85,542 per acre (20 cents per sf) for 48 acres on the east side of Lake Hancock Road, abut one-quarter mile south of Porter Road. The sellers were Patricia Lewis Cox, Lawrence Lennox and Madelon Sweat. Hage and Chisholm represented the buyer.
